User accounts

  • Do not use vulgar or otherwise offensive usernames. Such offense will result in the profile being removed or the username reverted.

Online leaderboards

  • Do not use vulgar or otherwise offensive nicknames when submitting scores to the online leaderboards. Such offense will result in the score being deleted or the nick censored.
  • Do not flag submitted scores without reason. Such behavior will result in degraded experience for the whole community.
  • Do not request to add videos not depicting the given score. Such behavior will worsen the experience for everyone since all videos are manually revieved.

I am not even close to qualified when it comes to 'legal' documents, hence why this policy might be lacking.

This work-in-progress document simply outlines the way user data is collected, processed, and stored.

In case of major changes to the policy that may influence how users interact with the website, we will notify them via e-mail and/or Discord.

Definitions

  • User will refer to you, the person using the website and associated services.
  • Site will refer to this website at https://ht.poggers.ltd/* and http://ht.poggers.ltd/*.
  • We will refer to the people behind this website.
  • Stripe is the payment provider for handling donations.

    • §1 User accounts

    The only personal information we store for registered users is their e-mail address, as usernames are not personal data. E-mail addresses are used exclusively to help the user recover their account. By default they are not visible to others.

    We do not track users nor send any data to third-party, besides Stripe (see: Payments).
    We only use the bare minimum of cookies, none of which contain any personal information nor could be used for identification.

    Currently, the only way to delete a user's account is to contact us. All related data will be deleted within 48 hours, besides the username and the user's mods and leaderboard scores, depending on their wish.
    By default we wipe everything, including user-uploaded content. This process is irreversible, and technically takes up to 30 days, since that's how long we store our activity logs for.
    If a user wishes to download their data stored by us, we will oblige by sending it via e-mail. However, as stated previously, we only store usernames, e-mail addresses, and profile settings.

    §2 Leaderboard

    Absolutely no personal data is stored on the site or sent to third-party.
    Only information the user inputs (i.e. the nickname they give when submitting the score) along with score statistics are publicly shown.

    §3 Payments

    The optional donations are handled by Stripe. No payment information is processed or stored by us, all we do is make sure the right user gets the right rewards. We require users to enter their e-mail address in the case a dispute were to occur.
